Paper Trends: The Finale

This summer series has been so much fun that we wanted to end it with a blowout finale featuring not one, but four of the hottest trends in stationery right now: shades of gray, orange + neutral, neon, and cameos.

Shades of charcoal-to-greige have long been a favorite of artists and graphic designers for many reasons. They are less harsh than black but still act as a neutral. While black ink is beautiful and impactful, charcoal is more organic and natural. Charcoal is also versatile and works just as well in letterpress ink as it does in thermography and engraving.

Orange + neutral is another hot trend that we can’t get enough of! Why orange? Turns out it is truly seasonless. It takes on a spicy personality for fall and winter weddings, but in spring and summer its citrus hues shine. It is fresh and beautiful year- round, and we can’t wait to see more of it later this year and next!

Neon might be the hottest trend of all! We are seeing it everywhere, from skinny fashion to housewares and there is something so infectiously happy about it!  Nobody does neon better in stationery than Bella Figura, who has an assortment of neon letterpress options.

The Bella Figura invitation above is completely on trend with its neon and washi tape design {not to mention the metallic foil}!

The ultimate in personalizing, custom cameos are huge ~ and we love how romantic they are. They are perfect on invitations, but are also perfect for thank you notes and other stationery.
