Paper Trends: The Fold

Salutations Fold 1

Whether it is the added space or the interactive characteristics offered by folded stationery, lately our brides are thinking beyond the flat invitation. Folded, gatefold and Z cards are all the rage in stationery right now and we are smitten with this 3D trend!

Salutations Fold 2

While folded invitations have a long tradition in wedding stationery, the trend of using folded stationery for accommodation inserts, wedding programs and save the dates is at a high right now. And we love that there are so many options in letterpress, thermography, and flat printing, which helps this trend cross all needs and budgets!

Salutations Fold 3

Functionally, you can’t beat folded event stationery  ~ so many places to include details for your event. But we are particularly taken by the design opportunity that folded stationery provides ~ so many places for motifs and fonts and colors!

The fold trend is so big right now that it’s showing up in the most unlikely places {think cakes and even dresses}!
